Arts Council England

Two Grant for the Arts awards granted to Effy and Litha - one for the research, development and production of Parting, 2013-14; and a previous award for the development phase of Reminiscence (2007).


Hinrichsen Foundation

Two awards granted to Effy and Litha - one for the development of two new viola works for the Women of the World Festival, 2018; and a previous award for the development and production of Rituals to Mould Her with, 2016-17.

Sound and Music Adopt a Music Creator

Litha was selected to take part in the Adopt a Music Creator scheme run by Sound and Music, PRSF, and Making Music, 2020-2021.


Made at the Red House Residency

A one week residency granted to Litha for the development of I Only Know I Am. Supported by Wild Plum Arts, in association with Britten Peers Foundation, 5th-12th August 2019.


Playground Studio

Support granted to Effy and Litha for the development of Reminiscence, 2007.


National Lottery

Award granted to Effy and Litha for the Production of Wherever I Hang: A Hip Hop Ballet, 2007.


Chappell Composition Prize

Leavers' Composition Prize awarded to Effy at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, 2013.


St Paul's Sinfonia Composition Competition 

Litha was winner of the St Paul's Sinfonia Composition Competition, 2011.


Royal Greenwich International String Quartet Competition 

Effy and Litha were winners of the Royal Greenwich International String Quartet Composition Competition, 2011.


Ivan Juritz Modernist Prize, shortlist

Effy was shortlisted for the Ivan Juritz Prize for modernist art, 2018.

European Research Council (ERC)

Award granted to Litha to carry out her Ph.D in Composition at the University of Bristol, 2013 - 2017.


London Arts and Humanities Partnership (LAHP)

Award granted to Effy to carry out her Ph.D in Composition at King's College London, 2016 - ongoing. 


London Arts and Humanities Partnership (LAHP) - Research Support Fund

Award granted to Effy for the development and recording of her orchestral work for Orchestra Vitae, 2021-22. 


King's College London - Research Support Fund

Award granted to Effy for the development and recording of her orchestral work for Orchestra Vitae, 2021-22. Further award for the development of a new multimidia stage work, 2023.

Scholarship granted to Effy and Litha to study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, 2009.

Director's Prize - Gold Medal Award

Litha was the winner of the Director's Prize in the prestigious Isabelle Bond Gold Medal competition at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, 2012.
